Reactive repairs when something breaks, and planned servicing and compliance you can see coming. One helpdesk and one number for every property, wherever it is, and the same vetted local trades either way.
Reactive maintenance
Run sites across the country for long enough and the same three things go wrong. Purple was set up around them rather than around a trade list.
A growing network of vetted local trades, matched to each site by distance, so jobs get picked up quickly rather than stacking up.
We allocate by proximity. Local engineers reach your sites faster and cost less to mobilise, on every single job.
Every job is tracked to its SLA and confirmed complete with before-and-after photos. You see status without making a call.
Reactive maintenance
Reactive is the bulk of what we do and usually the first thing an estates team needs fixing. One number to raise a job on any site, a vetted local trade on the way, and the paperwork back with you when it is done.
Raise a job for any property in your portfolio through one helpdesk. No local firm to find, no different process in every region.
Every job you have raised, its current status and its evidence in one place, so an update does not depend on getting hold of somebody.
Priorities are agreed with you, and every job is then tracked against the deadline it has been given.
A risk assessment on arrival, before-and-after photos on completion. Sign-off stops depending on a phone call.
Insurance, accreditations and skills are checked before a trade takes a single job on your estate.
Job history sits against the building it belongs to, so a single site and everything you run are both there to look at.

Behind the number
Behind the one number is a live network of vetted contractors throughout the UK. When a job comes in, we’re not ringing round trying to find someone free - it’s offered straight to contractors already covering that patch, so it gets picked up in minutes or hours, not days.
Your job lands with its scope and priority already set, ready to be offered out.
It goes to contractors already covering that patch, not whichever happens to pick up the phone.
We select the most suitable contractor and lock in their day/time of attendance.
Evidence lands against the job as it's captured, so nothing needs chasing to get it signed off and completed.
A client on both halves of the job: the callouts that come in day to day, and the larger works that come out of them.
Their reactive maintenance service has been particularly valuable, with works attended to promptly and efficiently, helping us to resolve issues quickly and minimise disruption to operations. For quoted works, Purple Construction have provided a professional service from initial quotation through to completion.

Planned maintenance
Servicing and compliance run to a calendar rather than to a breakdown, by the same vetted local trades that handle your repairs. Tell us what your estate needs and we will put a programme to you.
Commercial property maintenance splits into two kinds of work. Planned maintenance is the servicing and compliance you schedule in advance: gas, electrical, water hygiene, fire. Reactive maintenance is everything that breaks in between.
Most estates teams spend more of the week on the second than the first, and the reason is usually that the two are run by different people on different systems. A planned visit slips because a reactive fault is louder, and nobody finds out until somebody asks for the paperwork.
Running both through one place is what stops the unplanned work swallowing the planned. Same trades, same number to ring, same record filed against the building either way.
What the network covers
These are the disciplines Purple recruits and vets for, and the ones already attending reactive jobs on sites like yours. A planned programme draws on the same people rather than a separate supply chain stood up alongside it.
Coverage is checked against your postcodes before anything is agreed, the same way it is for reactive cover. If we cannot reach a site properly we will say so rather than take it on.
Getting started
We do not publish packages, because the useful version of this is built around what an estate actually needs rather than around what is easy to print. It starts with a conversation about the sites, what is in them, and what is already under contract somewhere else.
From there we agree what has to happen and who signs it off, check the network against your locations, and come back to you with a programme and a cost. Once it is running you raise anything else on the same number, and every visit lands in the same place as your reactive jobs.
The portal your job is raised in is the same one you check it in. Status, evidence and paperwork sit against the job and the building they belong to, so nothing depends on finding the right email or getting hold of the right person.

Who we work for
A care home and a warehouse do not go wrong in the same way. Each one below shows what does, and how we handle it.
